Google Ads

Google Ads run properly. In your name, not an agency's.

Google Ads audits and setup, charged as a fixed fee rather than a slice of your budget. UK-based, working worldwide — everything is async and in writing, so your timezone doesn't matter. The account is opened in your name, conversion tracking is built so the numbers actually mean something, and everything is documented at handover. Start with a £95 audit and find out whether spending anything at all is the right move.

What you get

Four things every account needs, and most do not have.

01

Conversion tracking that works

A great many small accounts are optimising against nothing. The tag was never installed, or it fires on every page load, or it counts someone viewing a form as someone submitting one. Tracking gets built and verified before anything else, because until a conversion means something every other decision is guesswork dressed up as data.

02

Campaigns built around intent

Search campaigns structured around what people type when they are ready to buy, rather than a keyword dump with broad match left switched on. Negative keywords in from the first day, so you stop paying for the searches that were never going to convert and the budget goes where it can do something.

03

Somewhere worth landing

The quickest way to waste a click is to send it to your homepage and hope. Ads should point at a page that answers the promise the ad just made. If that page does not exist yet, building it is quoted in — it is the same work as any other page on this site, at the same fixed price.

04

Budget controls and plain reporting

Daily caps and bid limits set so the spend cannot quietly run away, and reporting you can read without a glossary. What went out, what came back, and what the next change should be. Written in numbers and sentences rather than a screenshot of a dashboard nobody logs into.

How I charge

A fixed fee. Never a percentage of spend.

The standard agency model takes a percentage of whatever you spend. Read that again slowly: the person advising you on your budget earns more when your budget goes up. Every incentive points the wrong way, and it points hardest in the wrong direction on the day the honest advice is to spend less.

I charge a fixed fee for the work, agreed in writing before it starts, exactly like every other service here. If the right answer is a smaller budget across fewer campaigns, or no campaigns at all for now, saying so costs me nothing.

The account is opened in your name, on your billing, and you hold owner access from the first day. It does not sit inside an agency account you cannot see into and cannot take with you. If we stop working together nothing switches off and nothing needs migrating — the account simply carries on, because it was always yours.

That matters most for the history. Click, cost and conversion data is the most valuable thing an ad account accumulates, and losing access to it means starting again from zero. It stays with you, along with the documentation explaining what every campaign in there is for.

How it runs

Audit first. Build second.

01

Audit

£95, fixed, and it stands on its own. I look at what is running now, or at whether you should be running anything, and write up what I find in plain English.

02

Setup

From £350. Account build, campaign structure, keywords and negatives, conversion tracking installed and verified. The £95 audit comes off the price if you go ahead.

03

Handover

Written documentation of the account: what each campaign is for, where the budgets sit, and what to change when. Owner access is yours throughout. 50% deposit, 50% on delivery.

04

Optional tuning

From £150 a month if you want me to keep working on it. Never required and cancellable, and the account runs on exactly as it is if you stop. Plenty of people take the handover and run it themselves.

Pricing

£95 to find out. From £350 to build it.

The audit is £95, fixed, and stands alone — you can take the write-up and act on it yourself, or take it to somebody else. If you go ahead, that £95 comes off the setup. Setup starts at £350 and covers the account build, campaign structure, conversion tracking installed and verified, and a documented handover. Ongoing optimisation is available from £150 a month and is never a condition of the build. Your ad spend goes directly to Google on your own account and is never marked up.

Google Ads questions

Do I need to spend a lot for this to be worth it?

You need to spend enough for the numbers to mean something. Below a few hundred pounds a month a search campaign takes a long time to gather enough clicks to learn anything from, and the audit will tell you plainly if you are under that line. Spending nothing on a well-built account beats spending a little on a badly built one.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. It is opened in your name with your billing details, and you hold owner access from the first day. It is never run inside an account you cannot see into. If we stop working together the account carries on unchanged and nothing needs migrating, because it was already yours.

Is the £95 audit worth it if I am not sure about Google Ads at all?

That is exactly what it is for. It is fixed, standalone, and one of the honest outcomes is a write-up telling you that Google Ads is the wrong channel for your business right now. That answer costs you £95 rather than a few thousand in spend finding out the slow way.

How do you communicate during a project?

Email and written messages throughout. Regular progress updates, you review and reply when convenient. No weekly calls unless you specifically want them.

Let's build something serious

Not sure whether Ads is worth it for you?

Send a short note about what you sell, where you sell it, and what you have spent so far if anything. I reply within one working day. No calls required.
